The Indian Premiere League has announced the schedule of the fourth edition of the IPL which will start on April 8, 2011. The tournament will run from April 8 to May 28, 2011. Click here to see the IPL 4 Schedule .
With the addition of two more teams like Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala, the number of participating teams has increased to ten. SET MAX TV channel will telecast the matches live in India and other Asian countries. The links to watch the matches live will be provided here shortly.
The ten teams are divided into two groups and each team will play 14 games. A total of 74 games will be played in IPL 4. Click here to see the squads.
Group A : 1) Deccan Chargers 2) Delhi Daredevils 3) Kings XI Punjab 4) Mumbai Indians 5) Pune Warriors India.
Group B : 1) Kolkata Knight Riders 2) Kochi Tuskers Kerala 3) Royal Challengers Bangalore 4) Rajasthan Royals 5) Chennai Super Kings.
The first edition of the IPL was won by the Rajastan Royals led by Shane Warne. The second edition was won by the Deccan Chargers led by Adam Girlcrist and the 3rd edition was won by the MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings.
