Seven players of the 15-member Indian World Cup squad opted for a training session at the IIT-Chemplast ground in preparation for Sunday's game against the West Indies.
The session, lasting a little over two hours, saw Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli, Yusuf Pathan, Ravichandran Ashwin, Piyush Chawla and Munaf Patel go through a spell at the nets with the usual routine of throw-downs, but there was no fielding drill.

The team opted out of the practice session at the last minute.
