Sachin presented with silver World Cup trophy replica

A city-based jewellery firm presented a gold-plated silver World Cup trophy replica to batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar in Bangalore on Tuesday.

The replica is made of 4.5 kgs of silver with 60 gm of gold plating.

The efforts by the jewellery firm to present the trophy and felicitate Sachin before a posse of media persons failed to fructify as the batting maestro did not wish to have media glare for the event.

Sachin is here to play an IPL match today for his Mumbai Indians team against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
